At this celebration, we warmly invite you to experience and shape The Nectary’s culture and practices of interdependence. We invite you to bring your gifts, your needs, and your soul’s longing for a world of relational depth and care.
We’ll send out additional details and location to those that register, but here’s a whiff of what you’re invited to co-create with us.
4pm
A pop-up free store and fruit stand inspired by this season of abundant tree fruit (details below)
An intimate tour of The Nectary’s month of relational practices and artmaking – especially in regards to our shared-risk “economying” experiment. This tour will include opportunity to practice giving and receiving fully, within capacity and willingness.
6:30pm
A feast prepared with love by The Nectary, from the lands and waters around us
8pm
A living room concert, featuring Dechen Ellen McSweeney, Nectary Hosts, and potentially you!
To attend, please register here.
Our request to you: please help co-create our pop-up free store & fruit stand
No pop-up relational monastery would be complete without a pop-up free store and fruit stand…
Do you have access to something(s) of value in your own home and life that others may find beautiful and be able to put to good use?
If it feels truly joyful, or within your capacity and willingness, please bring it to our one-night free store and fruit stand! Many of us have pockets of overabundance in our lives, whether it be more apples in your backyard than you can possibly eat, a stockpile of clothes that you no longer wear, a kitchen appliance that never sees the light of day, or any other form.
We invite you to bring material expression of excess value and beauty from your personal sphere into the collective sphere for the benefit of others. You are also invited to peruse the free store and fruit stand for anything you want or need, and take it away with you. Anything not redistributed by the end of the evening will be donated locally.
